Yehhhhhhh, crawling out from under his desk for a few minutes, a republican congressman makes a speech. Yehhhhhhh.

While I appreciate the general sentiment (more than you know), there is a reason why DeMint was one of the few who were willing or able to stand before the 9.12 TEA Party in DC without getting laughed off the stage.

In fact, it was because of that fact that I am researching him a bit deeper than I have previously. There are very, very few in the Republican Party that I would be willing to endorse, and less than a handful in the senate. But DeMint is looking like one of them. I'll know that better when I have fully vetted his record for my own purposes.

I understand and I recognize that Demint has been more vocal than most of the others. But seriously, when considering all that is happening in the country right now, any legitimate republican congressman would be shouting from a mountaintop every day, forcing the proper amount of focus on everthing. Facts are, none of them are doing so. It is left to the talk radio hosts and the American public to do the work that people like Demint were elected to do.
