I’m wondering if this was staged like the Eminem stunt last year....... Of course, I’m not sure why Taylor Sift would go along with it.......

IT wasn’t staged, I read the blogs and Taylor was hysterical back stage and her mom read Kanye out before they threw him out of the award show altogether...

I think it was staged. I don't think Taylor was in on it. But I think the producers were. It's too perfect. The fact that Beyonce ends up winning at the end, she becomes the hero by bringing Taylor out. And anyway, if this hadn't happened, who would even know they held an awards show last night. This is WWE to the max.

Around here, folks won't want to believe that, because it's more fun to hate Kanye. But that's another reason why it works. Kanye the villian. Taylor the helpless blond waif. Beyonce the gracious hero. It's as pat as an old silent movie with Taylor being tied to the tracks by Kanye, saved at the end by Beyonce. Everyone is perfectly typecast to elicit the emotional reaction. And they get big time press.

Some argue that Kanye wouldn't be a part of a setup like this. But these same people argue that he's dumb enough to to do it on his own. Well? If he's that dumb, which he is, then he's that dumb. And anyway, he's already a villian. He has to remain a villian to stay in the news. This is plain and simple showmanship by MTV, and a big success for them.
