What I said was true. Read the post that I was responding to. I was correcting a poster. Again, HPV is a sexually transmitted VIRUS. It often goes away on it’s own as per the CDC.

"HPV is a sexually transmitted VIRUS. It often goes away on it’s own as per the CDC." Still an STD, as most are viruses anyways. And yes, HPV does clear up on it's own. But repeated exposures causes changes to the cell structures of the cervix tissue, which can turn cancerous if not treated.
