Yes, I heard those numbers even while there in DC yesterday.

2.5 million is like 4-5 times the population of DC.That would be almost a physical impossibility—you would need a far larger space to fit 2.5 million in than what we occupied yesterday.

Promise Keepers 1997 in DC had about a million. That took up the entire Mall. This crowd was not as large as that one by a fair margin.

I would take anything the DC police say with a grain of salt.We’d still be looking for the “white van” in the DC sniper shootings.

I would love for the number to be that high, but crowds can be visually deceiving. It doesn’t take away from the tremendous accomplishment that occurred yesterday.

Yes. Not everyone could go to Washington for various reasons but many many people I know were cheering to see this march.
