For the first time since his liver transplant, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs has put himself back in the spotlight -- taking center stage moments ago at an Apple event in San Francisco.

Jobs took the stage to a standing ovation — and then discussed the liver transplant he had in the spring.
Jobs explained how the liver came from a 20-year-old donor who died in a car accident and told the crowd, “I wouldn’t be here without such generosity.”
And they didn’t even introduce a new Ipod Touch just the same garbage from before, except with a faster processor, what a waste

Since he had cancer, what would you or me get when we needed a liver? I think it would be denied because of the cancer that could spread. Must be nice to be rich although I can’t blame him for wanting to save his life but who is still waiting after his cuts in line?
He had cancer. That tends to preclude you from being eligible from getting an new organ. It happens all the time, how did he get one?
It looks like I was wrong. Cancer seems to help in this case???
