A Truther czar? ...Vetting Czar??

As a reader asks, how did Van Jones make it through vetting to become Obama's green jobs czar?

Though very well regarded by officials of both parties, and a major figure in the new environmental movement, he's the type of figure who typically stays outside government. The only reason his various outrageous statements and affiliations haven't become a major issue yet is, paradoxically, because they're being driven by Glenn Beck.

This one: Jones appears to have signed a 9/11 Truther statement suggesting the Bush Administration “deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war.” The group confirms it's him.

Birthers may be the new Truthers, but this is a tough one to explain.

That one line should scare you even more.

That we have people in government who respect this guy is an outrage in itself and a reason to be very concerned for the future of our country.

Birthers are not the new Truthers

True. Truthers were systematically shut down with facts and science, i.e. many engineers, scientists, technicians, et.al. willingly came forward to effectively refute the truthers' claims. Likewise, all The Kenyan has to do is produce a valid long form birth certificate, i.e. produce evidence contrary to the birthers' claims, something he has not done.

Not to worry. Obama has appointed a new Extraordinary Commission for Combating Counter-Revolutions and Sabotage and congress has set up the Committee for State Security. They say these are just the people you need to rid the administration of a troublesome czar.

Well, I started calling myself a Truther not realizing that the name was opted by the 9/11 m0r0ns.

Birther isn’t what we are . . . it’s not just about the Birth Cert. It’s about the entire VETTING process that wasn’t done that just starts with the Birth Cert.
