i am interested in him having a good shot at a job after graduation. it’s fine to have pretensions about various schools and fields, but at the end of the day it’s about earning a living and paying the rent. if it’s something he halfway enjoys doing, then that’s icing on the cake. my brother has been a petroleum engineer with 30 years on the job, who is enjoying a furlough week every 10 weeks because of obams energy policy and the poor economy.
