I hate to add to the stress, but you need to be aware of the following:

"Out of 10,000 test cases of Tamiflu used by young people under 18, over half exhibited unusual behavior after taking Tamiflu. That behavior was sometimes as extreme as attempting or committing suicide. Eighteen deaths among young Japanese were associated with taking Tamiflu."

I would still give my kids the Tamiflu, but you need to be aware that it's mind altering and you need to watch them carefully, while they are on it.

Yes, I am aware that Tamiflu can be dangerous for kids. I decided to go ahead with it for her because although she is only 13, she is already adult height/weight, so I figure the risk is lower for her. However, I am keeping a very close eye on her.

I do have elderberry syrup, but am reserving it in case any symptoms show up in my younger kids, and if my 13 year old gets "sick". So far, she was only had a fever for about half a day, and since Friday night has been fine. None of the rest of us have developed any symptoms. I have had everyone in the house on vitamin C food complex, D, echinacea and colloidal silver since Friday.

So far so good.
