My mother got Gullian-Barre from the 1976 flu shot. She survived many months in the hospital and physical therapy. Her right leg was pernamently paralized.
In 1985 when my wife went quad the Neurologist was asking about her recent shots. Two persons were in the hospital at that time with Gullian-Barre. Her’s turned out to be Transverse Myelitis likely Polio Relapse In origin. It hit at C-5 C-6 and hit the Myelin {sp} as well but did not effect her respiratory like Gullian-Barre.
