Consider an observer studying studying a BEC. The magnetic fields generated internally cancel out the external field. They exist, but the b field falls close to or is, for all intents and purposes, zero to the observer. Superdiamagnetism. According to the observer the b field doesn’t exist.
It should fall off in an inverse square relation to the observer. The 3 (not counting time) dimensional Universe seems pretty consistent with that. One of my main issues with string theory(s) and it’s cohort m-theory is the consistent observation of three dimensions in fields in general.
Rather like hiding your candle under a bushel? If the observer can detect no external sign of it's existence, which is to say that the fields have no effect at all on the rest of the universe, then for all practical purposes they do not exist (at least not for the observer!). Now we are delving into religious philosophy and their existence is a mater of faith since no material evidence exists, no?

That is true beyond doubt. When a thunder head is moving along above the ground the entire bottom of the cloud is charged uniformly (since like charges repel, they spread out over the entire area available). As the cloud moves along a positive "mirror image" of the negative charge follows along on the ground. The positive keeps pace with the cloud (unlike charges attract) and as it's moving it flows up any conductive structure like an antenna or a tree.
That reduces the distance between the two separated charges (which are the plates in a gigantic capacitor, charged to several million volts). When the distance gets small enough the gap is nearing breakdown, and the charges on both plates send out ionized leaders, trying to bridge the gap (that is the creepy feeling of your skin crawling and your hair standing on end, it may also be visible as St. Elmo's fire, a form of corona discharge, now would be a good time to be elsewhere!).
When the leaders connect an ionized column of air is formed between the plates which becomes a plasma as the main flow of current flow commences. If there is a million amperes flowing from cloud to ground, there is also a radial flow of the same magnitude from the entire area of formerly distributed charge as it races to the point of discharge. The exact same thing is happening on the ground so that a million amperes is flowing laterally just beneath the surface. since the cloud and it's mirror image may be many acres in extent what happens next does not have to even be close to the actual point that is "struck by lightning".
The current flowing beneath the surface creates an intense magnetic pulse which induces secondary voltages in any metal objects which are insulated from ground. Electric fences with lots of wire mounted on insulators can develop sustained voltages of 10,000 volts or more. Any thing from doorknobs to stove pipes can be charged. These are the things that people who claim to have been "struck by lightning" have experienced, shocks from the secondary effects are no joke and can indeed kill you but not necessarily every time.
At the point of discharge a ionized plasma several meters in diameter is in the process of dissipating a few million horsepower. Any organic object struck by the direct arc would be instantly vaporized in a steam explosion with perhaps a few glowing embers left as evidence.
So endith today's lesson...

sniff
We can use the electricity for zots.
yes, I misspoke; what I wanted to say was, no motion no generated output....
I have an old Siltronics 10/11C sitting on my bench right, the owner of said radio having "just had to look inside." Well he saw this disconnected lead that he just knew was supposed to be connected to "well that looks like the right spot."
Well, he let the smoke out of the radio! He created several leaks across the board and I am now trying to plug them all up so that I can put in some new smoke.
I think stuff like this is similar to those people that just have to pull that string holding the button on their shirt - they know that when they do it the button is going to fall off, but the little voice in their head says "do it, do it, do it!!!" Two seconds later you hear the button hitting the floor...
People seem to not understand that an electronics tech and a plumber both use solder to stop leaks - plumbers use it on copper pipes to keep the water in the pipes, electronics techs use it on circuit boards and connections to keep the smoke in. Not hard to understand at all!

Well, this is NOT a perpetual motion machine,Uh ... yes it [probably] is ...
It bit her, you know!
I have a debate here if you wish to throw in physics
Energy cannot be created or destroyed only transferred
OK
A magnet is something containing energy which it is gradually loosing.
As the magnet is dispersing its energy over the next couple of hundred years why cant we use that to our advantage and efficiently transfer that energy.
when it comes down to it we don’t know jack yet in the greater scheme of things.
Hell we are just now stepping into what they have dubbed quantum transportation. what are they going to do when they figure out that certain particles can be used to transfer energy back and forth between dimensional planes or over time to create perpetual energy without violating any boundaries of physics.
before anyone tries to make a sly remark, don’t even try it your educated by a system of perpetual debt to accept control and don’t realize it or do not have the understanding enough to defeat it perpetual energy is far to ahead of this generation and maybe the next 10 - 20
Yes my grammar was bad it was caused by my broken give a damn I do apologize.
