I don’t understand how people fall for these things. By now, the public should be wary of any message requesting personal information such as checking account number, Social Security number, passwords, etc.

And the spelling and grammar are usually atrocious in these phishing e-mails, as in the two examples you posted.

I noticed they used the word “centre” which leads me to think that the scam is from off-shore somewhere.
