I have been fishing the bay since the late 50’s and actually participated in a research study(which has been since lost) at the UM Rosentiel School in the late 60’s that studied Fla. Bay and the Lower Gulf up to Shark River. Ahhh... those were the days,fast skiffs,lots of sun and a 6 pack of Mountain Dew.
