It recently cost me $400 to sanitize and innoculate
my computer from over 100 malwares and viruses.
So... I’m thinking next time, it’s a Mac.
Good thinking...
Yikes! That’s shocking... I had no idea....
A pastor I know just got a new iMac from one of the members of the church. He asked the pastor to go along with him and help him look around for computers. The pastor thought he was helping him choose a computer for that member. So, he went along and gave his opinion. The pastor has always been a confirmed PC user for years and years.
So, they both went out and looked around at three or four places, looking at some PCs and then the last stop was the Apple Store at Woodland Hills Mall (in Tulsa, Oklahoma). And so, the member asked the pastor what he thought about this particular iMac (a desktop model with a slim flat screen [the computer is entirely behind the screen... :-) ...]). And he asked the pastor about how much hard drive space he thought was okay, and then he went and “up-sized” it... :-).
The Apple Store employee brought the box out and handed it to the church member, and then he handed it over to the pastor and said, “It’s yours!”
And the pastor had no idea until that moment...

Support is great at an Apple Store. You can bring in your computer and get the “Mac genius” to help you with it (either hardware or software issues). If the hardware has to be fixed, he (or she) will help you get that fixed. If it’s software that needs to be reloaded or adjusted or whatever, he will also help you with that. And it’s all for free.
They’ve also got phone support and then, there is the support from fellow Mac users, too, on the forum that Apple provides for all Macintosh (and other product) users to talk and help each other.
It’s a great “community” actually...
