Probably wondering why we are so stupid as to put up windmills when we have nukes available to us. A step back into bygone technology, that’s what windmills are, they were good in their day, they are almost worthless today, unless of course your aim is to deprive the majority of people in the US of electric power.

Actually all your analysis was unnecessary, it is clearly a hub cap from a car(Actually several hub caps) being used as a UFO. Pretty apparent fake.

"Go to RED ALERT!"

But sir, if we go to red alert, we'll have to change the light bulb.

Not much analysis just observations. I know no one believed it anyway. Although some people when show photo of fakes and told they are fakes really want to believe that there really are UFOs wacthing the earth.

HOLLY: (Appearing on the screen) Purple alert, purple alert!
LISTER: What’s a purple alert?
HOLLY: Well, it’s sort of like, not as bad as a red alert, but a bit worse than a blue alert. Kind of like a mauve alert, don’t want to say “mauve alert.”

Yep. Windmills "in their day" were (and still are) a great way to pump water from ground wells.

Yes, I agree on the pumping water with windmills. They are still used in areas where electricity is limited or non-existent and they are useful for that but their main flaw is, and always will be, the fluctuation of the wind.

"their main flaw is, and always will be, the fluctuation of the wind."

You can keep them spinning - when the wind dies down - by hooking a small gas engine to them.

Problem solved. Next!
