Too bad that doesn't really work. There's a little town near me whose police force was disbanded because of corruption. They now have state police. In other words, you're on your own. The SP are spread so thin that they seldom patrol.
We were waiting at the town's stoplight to make a left turn when a pickup from behind made the turn, cutting us off and we nearly collided............in front of the old police station. I hate driving through there!
I've been cut off a couple times in front of an active police station. Once by a cruiser rushing out into the street without looking, siren or lights and once by a guy who just realized where he was doing 50 in a 35 whipping into my lane and braking to 30.
