This is a fantasy. Only a small minority of people actually care about this country, their freedoms, or even their own children. Most people are completely loveless and cowardly. They would sooner work 90+ hours a week and watch their children die of starvation than rise up against the leftist rulers.
I must respectfully disagree. You find that sort of thing in the unlikeliest places. Before this is all over I may find myself sharing a foxhole with a DU poster who hates my guts, but who loves his country more. That's how it really is.
I do think it possible, even probable, that it will come down to violence in the end. For better or worse, we're actually very good at that. Very, very good.
