I was on the phone last week with my son and we discussed this very topic. He is active Army, Infantry. 11 Bravo. He said they talked among themselves about this while in Iraq once in awhile. His said NO ONE he talked with, some Officers included, would obey any command to attack or harm U.S. citizens.

I felt better after that phone call.

I had the same conversation a little while ago with some of the finest & elite in the army, and they said the same thing...

I was an Army Sgt, in (West) Germany during Vietnam. My platoon leader, a LT about my age asked me what I would do if he ordered me and my squad to take over an American radio station.

I said "sadly Sir, I would have to shoot you."

He said "I would expect that of you."

Thanks for posting that — anyone else have any similar anecdotal stories to share that point in the same direction? We need to hear all we can about this..

Bullsh#t. Just like no FBI agents would actually kill children or burn them alive, then bulldoze a crime scene. Just like Federal ATF agents are there to protect citizens from evil criminal gun and explosive criminals.

Just like the little cops that like to go parading around in balaclavas and acting like little Sammy the Special operator.

They will collect their paycheck, follow orders like good little bureaucrats.

Maybe, just maybe a small percentage will resign or refuse to arrest civilians, but what will happen is that the first several will get prison or death and the rest will fall inline.

The way they'll do it is to round up all the Oath Keepers first, then everybody with a license for automatic weapons, followed by concealed carry permit holders... finally the NRA, GOA lists will be used then everybody that had hunting permits.

turn in your guns or get the knock on the door. would you go to the defense of a neighbor when a bunch of cops showed up. Nope. you and everybody else would tsk, tsk, tsk.. they should have obeyed the "insert generic regulation/fee/insurance mandate/" and they wouldn't be in trouble with the law.

Cops and soldiers get paid by the government and how many are willing to give that up?

the Army will go after civilians if they are "labeled" correctly and will even go after veterans...we've done it before and I'm sure that we'd or they'd do it again. Goes triple for cops.

In the very early seventies, being an infantryman, training involved riot control. With Woodstock, hippies and all that,it was not uncommon to be trained to hate these anti Americans, and prior to any ]New Studies],there were many soldiers that would not hesitate to open fire on there own countrymen. My take is that after many family members who were killed, will have a very profound impact on the soldiers whose families were decimated from their own fire. It is a very slippery slope.God bless them all!!!!

Sounds like you have a son that any father would be proud of.
