I hate to tell you this, SD, but Cyber who is originally from Michigan calls it “pop.” I thought he meant Popcycles. I drink “soda,” as in Diet Coke in the morning and Ginger Ale in the evening.
I still think so many things are east or west of the Mississippi.
I think you misunderstood. I say “pop,” and I am from western PA. It is the both coasts that say “soda.”
