Me, too. Maureen Dowd wrote a column once positing that Dick Cheney was our real President because George Bush didn’t have time for us given that he would, 5 days a week, run 4 miles on a treadmill in 30 mts., followed by 20 mts. on an elliptical trainer, followed by 30 mts. of weight training including bench pressing 180lbs.. Then, twice a week, he apparently played about an hour of tennis in addition to golf and mountain biking.

4 miles on a treadmill in 30 mts. means that for part of that time he was running a 7 mt. mile. I’m 20 yrs. younger than he and I can’t do that. It takes 20 secs. for the treadmill to catch up to the speed to which you set it. I run an 8.34 mt. mile, and I suffer for running 3 miles in 25 mts. and 20 seconds. I certainly would not be able to hop an elliptical trainer for 20 mts. following that. And I can’t do it 5 days in a row, either. Maybe he was drinking beet juice.
