Perhaps you do not know Las Vegas...
I used to work in the Gaming Machine industry (we had an office in LV) but I spent most of my time working with our clients and my 11 employees on the East coast, Indian Gaming (US) and Europe — I was responsible for training our LV Technicians however...( I believe I have been to LV 100+ times).
Las Vegas SHINES at night and it’s all about the spectacle, just like F1.
Should we not have night races? Singapore is especially wonderful...
Just a thought, just a thought.
By gaming machine industry, did you work on racing simulators or on racing games at all? Or are you talking about gaming machines in casinos?
Reason I ask,is beczuse I was pretty heavy into racing online in video games such as r-factor, assetto corsa, I-Racing. All of which are pretty remarkable games, and give a slight sense of what it must be like to race on a track. The tracks were fairly accurate too, right down to the bumps, dips, corners, curbs etc that you could feel with a force feedback steering wheel as you raced the track.
Thouhg not really “realistic” compared to the real thing, it still was neat to be as close as I’ll ever get to driving a supercar around any tracks.
