Yes, Sebring is a track that runs partly on an old airport used in WWII for bomber training. It is used for IMSA races and Indy Cars use it for testing to find weak points in the chassis design because it is so bumpy. I remember watching races where wild pigs were rooting in the grass off to the side of the track.

I spent a weekend testing
Mark Smith under Walker Racing then Mark drove the
Rental car with the cheif mech and I to Miami for a couple of Demonstration laps. That No Talent SOB took out Every marker reflector Before we left the Track.
It just got worse from there on,,,
I heard Mark Smith’s Brother died in a car he was driving.
Willie T. RIBBS was a Better driver!
