It won’t be Juan, he’s Columbian. He’s looking for an American. I have no idea where he will find him (or her). The defunct A1GP had some young American drivers in it, but I have no idea how good they really were. Andretti & Rahal (the youngin’s) have good pedigree, but that doesn’t translate into good F1 drivers. I’d like to see Rahal’s kid, he’s got a good temperment. I hope Windsor pulls this off and that F1 doesn’t implode before it happens.
FYI, the ALMS race is on your NBC affliate today. Check your local listings (2:30PM in the WashDC region). That is the sportscar hijack post or ping or whatever of the day. :-)

But, didn't Bobby Rahal leave a bad taste over in F1 a few years ago with his Jaguar effort? I agree though, the young guns, especially, Rahal, will be the ticket. I have in the back of my thoughts a top-gun NASCAR guy moving over to F1 for a round or two. I see trouble brewing on the horizon of NASCAR sponsorship, so now may be a good time to take the leap. Perhaps, Jeff Gordon? I suspect his wife will encourage the move, and I think JG would be a helluva F1 driver. However, I hope the Patrick circus, PC correct, girl show doesn't try to lip-stick her way into a ride. I promise, the F1 boys will not be kind....

it won’t be Patrick either...good name mediocre racer....I would like to say I’m partial to Rahal but he’s done relatively little in one year of CC and two in the IRL...
just for sh!ts and giggles I’d put AJ Almindinger in the car for a test....
