The red car in your post is a 570S. It has traction control, but can’t avoid physics if you go into a corner too fast.

The wrecked car is the new for 2018 720S. It has traction control and drift control for tracks where you have to do training laps. On an open road it is about the same as a 570S. The 720S has an active rear wing, but at high speed it would be lowered to reduce drag. Someone drove too fast into a curve.

I am looking at new 570S, used 650S or new 720S. The 720S is more than I want to pay, but it is really fast. All three are about the same 0-60 being at the limit of physics for a non-drag car at around 2.8 to 2.9 seconds. So I am not sure I would ever use the 720S performance except for a track day.

only McLaren i've ever ridden in is the XP4, here it is at the end of the lake
