Damn, to think I became aware of racing car tech in the storied Jim Hall Chaparral days. Ah, those horrible sucker cars and the scary innovations like adjustable wings.

Must outlaw them, like the Indy STP turbine, or the TZ750 Yamaha dirt tracker.

the Howmet turbine car had to retire the year it ran here because the track did a sh!tty job resurfacing the track and it wound up sucking up big chunks of the track edges sticking to the top of the underbody making it tooo heavy to continue
