i think that'd make a good series, and then let F1 go back to it's roots and dump all the Green crapActually I think that is the actual bit of genius in a hybrid vehicle...completely eliminating the transmission.
Never mind 8 speed automatics or CVTs. You’ll never break a properly matched electric motor.
All a commercial hybrid needs is a couple of tractor trailer sized batteries to get it rolling from a stop, and an appropriate power plant to take it from there. If you had a 2L turbo (200HP) and substantial enough motors, it should be a formidable AWD unit.
And ska-rew all the gratuitous electronics and gimmickry.
