Laguna Seca should never have been dropped as the USA MOTOGP round. It has the weather, the scenery, the tradition.

Never been to COTA and likely never will, but antiseptic tracks like that are not right for MOTOGP, even F1 would be a huge hit at Laguna. Look at the historic Can-Am races back when.

Fan accommodation and parking are chaotic, but that is part of the charm.
