When I lived in TX, I grew dahlias with flowers as big as serving platters. They were so perfect, they looked sureal.
I have tried growing them up here in the High Desert, but no luck. :(
This week, I saw some really cool wild sunflowers out in the woods and I thought are those perennial?
They cant be.. but I had to look.
Maybe I can gets pics next week.
Being a lousy gardener with lousy soil, I haven’t tried dahlias despite their incredible beauty.
