We each have our own adventures growing up. A big part of mine was growing up between two dairy farms with lots of kids, cows, cats and dogs. A fabulous experience. And not living on the farm I had no chores.

One of the farmers loved having kids there and made his hard work look easy. Maybe we broke his boredom. He taught us a lot that translated into life.

Yes. A good place for children to grow up, without a doubt.

Smart growthers are working hard to change all that, of course. (Oops...there’s that word again... ‘change’) If they have their way, we’ll all be living in high-rises, next to the railroad tracks. (Cuts down on the need for us to own any automobiles, and thereby stops ‘global warming’, doncha know.)
