In the early 70’s I once helped put a small heifer in the back seat of my bosses car, an OLDs 88, with the head out the window and the tail out the other. He drove the car back to the farm a mile or so away, with a lot cars behind him. But that was before seat belt laws.

November is still pretty warm here. I can take a summer of 70’s and 80’s ...ocean breezes, lobster, steamers...skiing. 60’s sleeping weather..no air conditioners as hate them in a house and a car. Like windows rolled down.

But yes you do have a wild west attitude that is envied.
..and you did try to save the Alamo but the govt didnt want to get involved even back then.

Hoot and a hollar..I like in the books I read.
Real tough “get going” Americans...those Texans.
