El Cid, he has already deceived those he needed to deceive to attain the position needed to wreak havoc.
I didn’t vote for him or anyone of the other fools in congress, but those who were mesmerized did, and that was all that he needed.
We are, at this point, powerless to stop them. Whatever he wants to do, he will do.
Let us indeed hope that he is not the one who was seen falling as lightning from the heavens.
And even if he was (which he isn't) it wouldn't change anything for us. We still keep our eyes on Jesus and work to serve HIM. Not imposters.
Nor, as you pointed out, does it change a lot in our present earth-bound situation. Our leaders our made up of the dregs of society - even though you or I might not have voted for them; and the Country as a whole has no fear of God - and is thus reaping the bitter fruits of this harvest.
But we're fine. The Lord knows what HE has in store. Until then - serve HIM and point people towards our Saviour. Who knows, perhaps we'll have a 'healing' before the end.
