If they let Ty Cobb in, they should let Pete Rose in.

Shame hes so talented and wasted it on dog torture. Now THAT is a statement I think we can all agree on. I still cannot fathom what he was thinking (or NOT thinking) when he involved himself in that activity. He had SO much going for him.
I truly do hope that he has learned from his mistakes and that he decided to permanently change his attitude and his approach towards life while he was in prison. Lord knows he had a lot of time to mull things over. I guess we'll know eventually. The media is going to be all over this guy like flies on dog poop.

Can I be the first FReeper to not see your sarcasm and jump all over you for condoning dog fighting?Depending on how you classify it, you're either the first or second one.
This might be fun...

Trial -> Verdict -> Sentencing -> Sentence Served -> Release.
Looks to me like the punishment has been paid. Let him play.

We have Colt Brennan as a back up to Jason Cambell, I think one of the 2 of them will be fine compared to the PR disaster Vick would bring. If Colt Brennan can redeem himself from his Colorado days, so can Vick from his dog days.

I’m Falcon fan.
Vick was very good player, I wish him well. I would like to see him back in Atlanta backing up Matty Ice., but that’s not going to happen. He lied to owner.
Anyway it will be Falcons and Chargers in this years Super Bowl.

Don't buy into that Owl guy! He's always posting outrageous comments to see if people fall for it! Good. Here's you're reward.

Falcons schedule is too tough this year. I bet the Falcons go 7 and 9 this year.
To: Sprite518
Kansas City would never take him. They have to much class.
To: Sprite518
Add Denver to your list. Or maybe Kyle Orton will lead them to the promised land....
As for the laughingstock of the NFL, AKA, the Browns, nothing would suprise me if they took a gamble too...
....wait for it....

I agree. Let him play. He has served his time. But I would advise him to team up with one of the animal rights groups to ensure he is not hounded to death by these organizations. Maybe he could do promotions or spots on TV promoting animal rights. He has to get on their good side. Thats just the way it is.

I have now heard San Francisco, Minnesota and now Tampa Bay.

I am the first and Ill put my dog up against anyone elses that says otherwise! You can't just drop that and run. My sheppard or my pit would dominate the 60-75 pound weight class.

How would Browns fans react?
If they signed him the drunk idiots would hoot and holler just like the sheeple they are.
Smells like another bad 5-11 record no matter what!!
