I’m back as myself. I came up to the cabin, using hubby’s laptop and Cottonball’s password was remembered on the computer. And is now changed to something to won’t forget!
I see I have a lot of posts to catch up on, as expected ;)
Son’s boot camp graduation was great. It’s amazing what the military can do to those kid’s discipline in just 8 weeks. Their marching in formation was impressive. But even more than that, the way they all were so polite, well-dressed, and respectful was even better. I can’t count the number of times I was told “excuse me, m’am”, or “yes, m’am”, “no, m’am” or had doors held open for me. It was like stepping back in time. I’m sure most of these men and women had their underwear showing out of baggy jeans and didn’t think about calling anyone “m’am” or “sir” 9 weeks ago!. It was bittersweet, knowing the rest of our society is disintegrating. My husband noted the military is the last bastion of respect, dignity, and love of country. And TPTB would love to destroy it.
