One idiot couple had 17 guns and ammo stolen. Foolish not to at least have a gun safe. But the items to be used, that’s the odd part. Even the sheriff attributed it either to guerilla campers (that live in the woods) or unemployed whose benefits have run out.<<<

LOL, in my day we were called “Fruit Tramps” and a lot of other names, guerilla campers is a new name for poor and broken folks.

I do not remember my dad ever stealing anything.

We did live in the camps, the big ones at the farms or the under a tree in the river bottoms, made no difference, it is a matter of survival.

In the 1930’s we were a working society, that is what one did, it was our way of life.

Today, those campers are having withdrawl pains from their
tv sets with many channels, the computers and internet, fancy movies, none of it real and all of it used in their destruction of a society.

The tv taught them the best methods to steal, and little else, that will help them survive.

Yup - there's no shame in being poor. It's how one reacts to it. I'm very sad that our society doesn't have the character or backbone to survive another depression with class and hard work and sacrifices. At least, it's my opinion that all the entitlement babies won't develop the courage their grandparents had. I could be wrong.
