The moral of the story is doctors aren't perfect and it takes multiple tests or multiple opinions to get a diagnosis correct. I could name many other examples in my family.
Your situation must be serious to require a shot. I guess vitamins weren't enough.

Your situation must be serious to require a shot. I guess vitamins weren't enough. Yeah, we tried several oral vitamins and my body wouldn't absorb any of them. The shots work well, though.
