Anthropologists have their own kind of political correctness. They tend to deny that there was interspecies violence. Only one kind of hominid survived. It wasn’t because we had higher SAT scores.
Or to put it another way, Humans killed dolphins and seals for eating the same food we did so why not other hominids?
