It looks like a wet place in the picture. Anoreth was hoping for a post to the Caribbean, but at least they’ll be cruising south for the winter. She knows better than to fall for any Latinos guapos ... church is full of them!
This was taken in January/February in Seattle. It is really wet here then. (It is, of course ALWAYS WET AND RAINING IN SEATTLE -- please tell your lib friends, except when it isn't and when that occurs is a conservative secret -- except we can be wrong too.)
Note the lack of snow. Bad sign. We don't do "snow" very well here.
Seattle is not bad. GORGEOUS summers like she'll see nowhere else (except maybe Alaska, but at least here the sun does go down mid-summer so you can sleep at night).
IMHO there is no better summer than Seattle's. For all I have had to deal with a total of A DOZEN (that's 12) mosquito(e)s this summer. No ticks (we have 'em) or chiggers (we don't). No venomous snakes. Woods are generally safe if you're prepared to deal with bears or mountain lions (mostly true for cities too -- *non-human* wildlife is regularly reported in downtown Seattle). If you aren't given to standing too long in any one place, mountain beavers won't bother you either. *\;-)
Winters, well, dark (remember we have lots of BIG & TALL trees, usually no snow, and cloud cover so no stars). That's the killer for most folks. Some, like, us, survive.
