As a matter of fact, I have become hopeful.
If the country gets out of the several messes it is in with only a bloody fight over whether or not the current guy is qualified to be President on Constitutional grounds, I think that is a plus.
We need to defeat the Cap and Trade Bill; we need to defeat the socialized medicine bill; it would be nice to keep Sotomeyer off the Supreme Court bench; but if we do that and by the time we are done, the Administration is handicapped by obvious problems with Obama's eligibility that are likely to last the remainder of his term even if he doesn't get kicked out by legal process, we have a shot at getting the country back in 2012.
We have a shot at getting the country back in 2010, if we can take back congress and the senate.
