My cat definitely controls me. She wants to go “night night” as soon as she comes in the house for the night. If I try to watch TV in the bed, she gets all kind of crazy. I have found that it’s better just to watch TV down in the family room and only go upstairs to sleep. The other thing the cat insists on is for me to face her when I settle in to go to sleep. If I try sleeping on my back or on my side facing away from her, she will start walking on me until I turn to face her. If she weren’t otherwise so darned cute . . . !

I had a little black and white terror I called Scoots. Best mouser I ever saw, but she had her viewpoint of the world and how it worked. She wanted my attention one day while I was reading the paper, and took exception to me continuing to read it while I half heartily petted her with with one hand. WHAP! She let me know her displeasure by swatting me on the cheek, with one exposed claw. It drew a bit of blood, and she gave me the silent treatment the rest of the day...

LOL! I have one who insists on the same thing. But she'll just hop over me so I'm facing her. If I have a hard time getting to sleep and toss and turn 100x she'll hop over me 100x. But gosh darn it I'll be facing here when I finally get to sleep ...
