we are going back to the basics and completely redesigning the underlying security architecture of the OS so that users don't have to deal with viruses, malware and security updates.

Take that Microsoft....now I am interested....

These guys have been quiet for awhile...wonder why and how they fit into this with their special interfaces to cloud computing and google?

As much as I loathe the libs at Google, the Chrome browser is the best one out there. I was a diehard Firefox user for years but got tired of the java quirks and memory hogging. Even tried Safari for a bit. But Chrome is my default now.
