I did hear a report on the radio that said she had just recently purchased a hand gun. Also said something about it possibly being an illegal purchase.

Her family and neighbors say she was happy and there was no history of fighting between her and McNair. The family says she wanted to marry McNair but the ex-boyfriend says she was leaving him. No clear motive.
