OK, this may be one of the few times I will actually have the chance to ever thank a lawyer for his/her expertise and opinion. Thank you.
As I said earlier, I am getting everything I asked for and more in my quest for supportive evidence and winning arguments to take my opponent to the mat for the final count. Unfortunately, I must admit that this person has actually resorted to being personal and emotional in their defense of the indefensible.

People live in two environments, the so-called "natural" environment and a man-made environment. Disruption of the man-made environment has the more immediate effects on human health and welfare. This can be seen by the fact that people can live in a wide variety of "natural" environments, some more inclement than others. To do so effectively, though, they have to create a specialized environment designed to mitigate fluctuations in "natural" temperature, precipitation, sunshine, and growing cycles. Almost no one in any civilization lives in the "natural" environment unbuffered by a manmade environment. It's extremely difficult and very dangerous to do.
The cap and trade bill does very, very little to change any effect that man has on the "natural" environment, but it seems almost deliberately designed to disrupt the principal environment in which people live and prosper. It seems bent on the destruction of the human ecosystem.
And this has exactly what to do with the preponderance of evidence for or against one being born gay and whether or not no evidence proves a point?
Me thinks someone got their comments mixed up. I would really love to see the reaction to the comment meant for this thread on thread you posted it to.
Too funny.....LOL

Well, I was scrolling down one of these really LONG posts that had multiple HTML links in the recent posts index trying to find the reply button. I guess I scrolled a little too far. Crap. I guess I'll go look for the right one now and repost.

There is another logical argument you could use if your friend is open to statistics:
Genes are passed from one generation to the next via sexual reproduction.
If one parent carries a gene, but the other doesn’t, there is only a 50% chance the child will be passed the gene. Not a problem if gays reproduced at the same rate as non-gays, but they don’t.
Those carrying a gay gene would reproduce at smaller numbers than the rest of the population (due to a high percentage of them never engaging in reproductive intercourse, and thus never having children.)
Consquently, the number of people born with the “gay gene” would go down every generation until eventually it was eliminated.
So, even if there was a “gay gene” somewhere far back in our history, it would have been eliminated by now.

No. Again, I can point to many genetic diseases which completely preclude procreation, yet they continue to exist.
Your argument is based on a simplistic, grade school model of genetics that only deals with dominant allele. Even a jr. high understanding of recessives would be enough to shoot holes in the reproduction theory, let alone advanced genetics dealing with homozygous, heterozygous, hemizygous, and nullizygous combinations across multiple genes.
Politics is one thing, but politics should never lead to bad science.

You are making assumptions that are off the wall. The family with the three gay children lived in another state from the rest of the family, so there was no child molesting uncle around.
The other part is that child molesters usually have a specific age range and sex of children that he or she molests. This has been true of all the child molesters that I have come into contact with and there have been several (not family members).

Sorry, but that is bunk!
I have personal proof, ME, that that is not true. I was molested by a man who did not care what sex or age, as long as he was in control. I have spoken with numerous individuals who have had similar experiences as I and they say the same thing.
Age and sex are not specific to a child molesters desire, opportunity is. Give a pervert a chance to believe he or she can get away with it and he or she will molest whatever child is available. It is my opinion that perversion knows no boundaries and the more perverse a person can be, the more they will push the envelope.
Quite often a convicted molester will say that they never meant to do what they did, and when it started they were not as bad as they were when they finally got caught. It becomes a perversion that grows and like drugs that can start with just a joint and grow to stronger needs, so to does perversion when it is tapped.
It can be as simple as wanting to see little girls or boys naked. Before they realize how bad they have gotten, they are driving around looking for an opportunity that will present itself where they can get away with it, regardless of the sex or age. It is just that little boys are less apt to talk about it, so they are the largest group molested.
Get educated, please, it will protect your own children or grandchildren. But do not believe the lie that homosexuals are born with a desire for perversion, it is a learned behavior that starts as a child when they are vulnerable to suggestions and control by someone they respect.

I have been educated about sexual abuse of minors, by professional counselors. I’m not going to go into details, but suffice it to say, that I have personal experience and knowledge.

May I ask if these counselors are Christian or not?
I ask because most secular counselors tend to bend with the winds of change, and the wind is blowing in favor of the homosexual movement. look at the AMA, they are loaded with pro homosexual advocates.
Christian counselors are more interested in the truth whether it is popular with modern day beliefs or not. The truth never changes, regardless how nuch society wants to normalize perverse behavior.

I really don’t want to discuss this in an open forum, but suffice it to say, that I have been exposed to more perverts than any one person should come across in a life time. I don’t know why, but I think that the perversion and abuse is much more prevalent than anyone ever imagines. Part of it is that most people don’t believe that it is happening because it seems so far out of the norm, but it is all around us.
I think that maybe part of the reason that I was made aware of much of the sickness was because my father was the desk sergeant at the police station and kids used to tell me things, looking for help. I also had a friend whose father was the superintendent of schools and he told me things as well, that he couldn’t tell anyone else.
Then there were the perverts and victims that I knew personally.
