I haven’t been on in a long while, but reading this I just had to say that it could be that Ted didn’t want to end up like John and Bobby. He could effect much more of his agenda as a lifetime Sentor than a two term President who would be a sitting duck as a Kennedy. Bravery has never been Teddy’s strong suit. He is the “Cowardly Lion” of the Senate in my opinion.
