I think you are correct. In my opinion too many people placed too high of expectations on her and that was neither fair or right. There is no conservative messiah, and until conservatives admit to that fact we are not going to be able to get on with the nasty business necessary to take our country back. For a number of years I kept wondering when a modern day George Washington would show up to lead the way, but this last election made me realize that what we need is Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Mason, Hancock, Adams, Warren, and countless others. Sarah Palin can surely be one of the many needed, but she is not just the one.
