While I was searching for something for you, I ran across that and thought “I should be able to do something with that and so I did!” Its fun to grab something different sometimes, isn’t it?
I know you are tired. I used to get tired when we were getting ready to go on vacation and I was a lot younger then. I would just have so much to do. I would make a list to be sure we didn’t forget a thing! But it was so much fun. Back then, I would make country ham biscuits or sausage biscuits the night before and big thermos of coffee and we just traveled and munched all the way. Plus the bag of crackers, chips, candy, etc. And a big cooler of soft drinks. That was the only time we let the kids drink as much as they wanted because it was vacation! Wonderful memories.....sigh...
I’ve made a couple of lists. :)
I always pack a couple of different snacks. I’m hoping we get started early Friday. It will be hot and we will be doing desert driving. I will take plenty of cold drinks and water.
I bought Marissa some new sketch pads and colored pencils. She will occupy herself with these while we are driving.
It is always a lot of work to get ready but a lot of fun once we get started.
