Meg, I was planning on keeping my little Nissan Altima until I couldn’t. It had some age but under 50,000 miles, which no one could believe. Never had any motor work...nothing. When I would have it detailed, it looked like a brand new one! I kept the oil changed and good tires and that is why I wanted to keep it.
I am glad I had someone like David to help me though. The boys had been looking but they just don’t have a lot of time with jobs, etc. And I had to deal with insurance companies also which is the dickens!
Did you know the rental cars I drove had manual windows and locks and they were 2009 models. My Altima had everything automatic....its unbelievable! The car I bought has even more than the Altima. Its a 2005 Subaru Legacy, white outside, grey/black inside! One owner...drives beautiful! I was lucky that I like it better than the one I had...LOL!
You better get to bed or are you waiting on your little cuties to come for dinner? Wish I could see them!
HA!
I was just doing a search on best used cars and yours is listed.
I thought I should get at least some idea of what kind to look for...
I had to replace master cylinder and the A/C on this car..It is a pretty burgandy Buick but it was not good as far as early repairs went..
I am glad to see Carfax can give you a car history for a price if not offered by seller..
Most of the used cars I found in my area have more miles on them than my car..LOL
PS
Get to bed?..LOL..I woke up at 6pm.My days and nights are turned upside down..The babies came at 3;30 am ..
I have many photos to resize..and I think I’ll work on Sunday’s posts.
Sweet Dreams
