Well. Yeah. She may have grown up but she still had issues because she didn't understand that her mother died. She thought that her mother had just gone out bull dozing and left her all alone. Like the little boy in the sad song she was bleating: "please mommy please stay home with me" and, although she didn't die like the little boy in the sad song, she was left emotionally scarred and she would break down and cry every time she heard Eddie Arnold sing the Cattle Call.

LOL..Decades ago I used to lose the Dallas stations on trips to see my parents and the only stations on my car radio were country...As you say..someone “done up and left or died “or the songs could be very funny,
I once was laughing so hard at a talking bird song I feared I might have a wreck..When I got a computer I tried every way to try to find that funny song.
Maybe they have a Cow Whisperer to help her deal with her issues? :)
