Testing, one, two, three
I hate killing bees. I’ve never been stung.
The bee keeper said there were at least 7000 (yes) between our stucco wall and the bath area. It’s a pretty large area. Had we waited two weeks, they would have had to tear down the wall and get the comb out of there.
As it was, he just drilled two small holes in the wall, and sprayed inside with some kind of gas. Then he sprayed outside. They could have been the Africanized bees, but it’s hard to tell in the very beginning. Only $164 to have that done. Cyber was in the bathroom listen because the bee keeper said there would be a lot of noise. Cyber said it was like running water. LOL!
The bee keeper had five more appointments after ours which was at 2:00 p.m. Busy little buggers. Kill the Queen and the whole swarm with the exception of the drones would die within days. All bees are female, again with the exception of the drones. If you have an Africanized drone doing it with a honey queen, you’ve got troubles.
So much for my many Sons of B’s!!!
Beautiful pome, BTW.
