My former brother-in-law tried to throw my sister down a flight of stairs in front of me because she had the audacity to visit me while he was away on a weekend. He used to beat her, she took it, was embarrassed, but as soon as we knew, she got away. I think he is in jail somewhere. Thank God(literally) she got away from him. If she had had to defend herself more than she did, I would pray the jury would have understood.

Hope your Sister is OK..sorry she had to go thru that trauma. Glad she defended herself...

I’m not arguing against a woman’s right to defend herself...If she is being attacked she has every right to shoot her Boyfriend or Husband.

But If he’s asleep?? Is it still self defense? She couldn’t just leave..She has to shoot him dead while he’s defenseless??
