The sky was also a deep red color - quite beautiful. I was watching Mets and Yanks last night and they showed the sky exactly as you said.

I have a dreams about the sky turning wierd and then it opens up and Jesus and the Saints go to battle and they are as big as far as the eye can see and all the world sees it.
The clouds remind me of that dream.

Mammatus clouds are formed by sinking air inside of thunder clouds. They look a little scary, but cooling air usually means a weakening storm, so they’re actually a good sign for avoiding stormy weather.
