If this happens, my CBS affiliate is blocked off FOR LIFE. I’ve always been fond of the local newscast crew, but they go too. The whole channel.

I’m REALLY good at personal boycotts. There’s a nearby appliance store I stopped all purchases from when I heard the owner donated to a long-dead lib. That was 25 years ago. I hold long, deep grudges.

Letterman: perv scumbag... just go crawl in a hole and die, you pathetic bastard.

This is actually a good point. Most local affiliates don't operate at the same level of margin as their national networks do. When the locals lose a local advertiser, it hurts them, especially in today's economy when overall ad dollars are significantly down over the prior fiscal periods.

If you can put the pressure on the local businesses who's adverts run during Letterman's show, believe me the local affiliate will complain to CBS Corporation. They just can't afford to lose the revenue right now.
